About Teamlytica
Why TeamLytica exists
TeamLytica was created to make team improvement measurable and defensible.
Good work is happening. But coaches and L&D teams are now under pressure to prove it. Budgets are tighter. Scrutiny is higher. Senior leaders are asking harder questions.
Coaches, Trainers And L&D Professionals Are Expected To Improve Teams And Prove What Changed.
They must show ROI and prioritise effort, often across multiple teams and limited time.
Much of their best work happens in conversations and workshops that are hard to evidence. Insight is generated but rarely revisited. Momentum fades. Progress is felt, but not shown. That gap between effort and evidence erodes confidence. TeamLytica closes that gap.
The problem we set out to solve
For over two decades, our founder, Mark Hide, has worked as a senior leader, business owner and team development practitioner in the UK and overseas.
He has led large teams, managed multi-million-pound budgets and been accountable for results. He has also used many established psychometric tools, both as a leader and coach.
They have value when used well.
In practice, many are hard to apply consistently and rarely show progress over time. Insight is interesting, but seldom linked to day-to-day team behaviour or performance improvement.
As ROI expectations rise, pressure increases. Coaches and L&D teams are asked to demonstrate impact without tools that make change visible and repeatable.
— Mark Hide, The Founder of TEAMLYTICA
Our stance
TeamLytica is built on a clear belief:
Improvement without evidence will always be questioned.
Rather than adding another framework or personality model, we focused on building a practical system. A team-level diagnostic and reporting approach that helps practitioners and organisations:
- See how a team is functioning
- Decide where to focus
- Track change over time
- Show that development work is making a difference
Clarity over complexity.
Written in plain language. Designed to be used and revisited, not filed away.
Built for
the real world
TeamLytica reflects how teams operate under pressure, change and competing priorities.
It is shaped by experience across industries and team types, not theory alone. From senior leadership to frontline teams, the same behavioural patterns repeat. Our role is to make them visible and measurable.
Used by coaches, leadership firms, HR and L&D teams who want clear evidence that their development work delivers results.
Meet the founder
I built TeamLytica out of frustration.
— Mark Hide
It had become too hard for capable coaches and leaders to clearly demonstrate the value of their work. Too many tools were clever but impractical.
I saw good people lose confidence, not because their work failed, but because they couldn’t evidence it clearly.
Teams were improving. Habits were shifting. But when challenged, the proof wasn’t there.
TeamLytica brings common sense back into team development while meeting the demand for evidence and accountability.”
Mark has over 20 years’ experience in leadership and team development, following senior management roles. He holds an MBA and has led large teams with significant responsibility.
In 2023, TeamLytica was shortlisted for the Innovative Use of Technology Awards, recognising its practical approach to team insight and performance measurement.
